Hello everyone! My name is Katiria Concepcion. I am a photographer based in the South Boston area.

A little bit about myself... I began my life journey in Puerto Rico then immediately moved up to Methuen Massachusetts before I was able to crawl. Half of my upbringing was spent there and the other half was in Orlando Florida. Being the youngest of six girls (yes, you read right, six girls same parents) under one roof, I learned a lot. Most of my siblings are artists in one way or another. We all loved to sing and create (paint, draw, cook etc.) One thing my household almost always had was music playing, whether we were singing our voices away or dancing around, it was always good times. At least that’s what I remember, or choose to remember :)

 My love for photography has always been there but it was magnified when a friend over 10 years ago needed photos for her new music single. She had a shoot scheduled with a local photographer whom which was charging a substantial amount of money (least that’s what we thought at the time), yet he seemed unorganized and had no studio space. I then suggested that we buy a camera and shoot together instead. (Fast fwd) >> The shoot went well (better than expected) so we decided to create a small photography business. After working together for a year or so we decided it was best for the both of us to part ways. So here I am today, still going :)

I am now a self taught photographer from Central Florida based in South Boston. I've been shooting professionally on and off since 2009. I am very passionate about my work and enjoy working with individuals who appreciate a beautifully captured moment.
